Dear Kaspa Community,
we'd like to present a proposal today on how we can collectively support charities using Kaspa network and its native currency KAS, together with Crypdonate. Crypdonate.Charity is a non-profit initiative driven by volunteers, dedicated to facilitating crypto donations to charitable organizations. Importantly, we do not charge any fees or commissions on donations, we do this purely for the good cause and work 100% transparently, as we connect KAS-Donors directly with Charities.

1. Support Charities using KAS:
We can initiate special fundraising campaigns with the Kaspa Community, where the community decides which charity to support, and individuals can manually donate KAS. KAS donations to trusted Charities are already operational. Check it out on www.crypdonate.charity
2. Integrate Automated KAS Donations into Dapps:
In the future, we can seamlessly integrate automated donation functions into Kaspa's upcoming smart contracts. These could include features such as "Staking for Charity," "Charitable NFTs," or "Defi for Charity," allowing users to allocate a percentage of their revenue to their chosen charity.
3. KAS Mining for Charity:
Crypdonate enables miners to connect their mining power with KAS Philanthropy. This way, miners can automatically donate a percentage of their rewards to the charities they wish to support.

Crypdonate Association & how we fund our operations
Our non-profit association, "Crypdonate.Charity," is officially registered in Austria. It operates democratically and welcomes anyone interested in contributing to our project's growth to become a member. Our association is built on the efforts of volunteers who are committed to making a positive impact.
Crypdonate.Charity operates without service fees. We have established a dedicated donation account for the Crypdonate Association, which is used to support the development of our platform. Any surplus funds are directed toward our charity partners. Our volunteers and builders do not profit personally from donations.
How Crypto Donations Reach Charities and Associated Fees
Donations on our platform go directly from the donor to the charity's wallet or crypto exchange account. We do not store donations or deduct any commissions. The only unavoidable fees arise when a charity chooses to convert crypto donations into fiat currency, and these fees are transparently communicated to donors.
Direct KAS or Fiat Exchange, Their Choise
The charity itself decides whether they want to keep crypto or exchange it for Fiat currency. Presently, the majority of charities opt for converting to Fiat since they face limitations in using crypto for essential purchases. Nevertheless, even if a charity chooses to switch to Fiat, we perceive the acceptance of crypto donations as a crucial step for crypto adoption.
