exchange announcements
https://www.xt.com/ has launched kaspa for free and rather quickly after their announcement. opening for trading on Monday the 6th.
https://www.chainge.finance/ has also launched Kaspa for free but with a lot of help from the Chinese Kaspa community for liquidity. Silently released this week, official announcement and twitter space to come.
https://www.gate.io/ has announced a Kaspa listing after a fundraiser to get Kaspa on a high tier exchange. Release date is to be determined.
Kaspa is live on Twitch
This week Dablacksplash has been working on getting a livestream going with the current happenings in Kaspa, for if you want a live feed.
You can find it at https://www.twitch.tv/kaspacurrency
Maybe drop in and say hi!
Kaspa gaming
A proposal has been made on the Kaspa discord for a gaming event hosted by the Kaspa community for the Kaspa community.
If the interest is there it could become a reoccurring event in the Kaspa discord and on the Kaspa twitch channel.
The vote will be to check how many are interested in a funding pool for prizes.
A smaller price pot may be supplied by the organizers if the proposal for the funding pool fails.
But the event will still be organized regardless.
New Kaspad release
kaspad v0.12.13 has been released on Monday the 6th.
It fixes some minor dependency related security bugs, but its main new feature is the --send-all flag that was just added to the wallet:
From now on you'll be able to empty a specific address or the whole wallet without specifying the exact amount.
Check your wallets if they have updated yet to enjoy the new features and squashed bugs.
A new explorer has been released by CryptoK.
https://kas.fyi/ is the new explorer. It features some nice metrics and so far it has been running stably.
It has a top 1000 rich list, a price tracker, a current tps counter, network hashrate, and much more.
Kaspatalk has been released.
If you're reading this from the Kaspatalk forum, welcome and have a look around.
